Members visit our website for details and registration for our events, information on our annual Cumbre Awards program, to check out our Job Center and get updates on programs such as mentoring and accreditation. Our audience of prospective members visits our website for similar reasons, and to seek information on the benefits of membership and how to apply. Website Objectives Provide easy access to industry and membership information. A primary objective of our website is to give communications professionals information about our services and programs and resources pertinent to the industry. We want a dynamic, interactive, user-friendly site with concise copy displayed in a clean, spacious manner and the ability to display images and graphics in a variety of ways. Drive event registration. NMPRSA hosts monthly luncheons, an annual awards program and other smaller events. Users rely on our website to review the details of events and to register. Our website will need to prominently display our events and link to registration. Event payment is handled through PayPal and should be a seamless process on the website. We want our site to prominently feature our events and make it easy to register. Drive membership sign-ups. Our ability to increase membership sign-ups through an engaging and informative website is a huge opportunity for NMPRSA. Our website should provide information on membership promotions and benefits, and an easy way to join the organization. By being robust, up-to-date and contemporary, we’d like the website to be an effective recruitment tool. Provide access to professional development and jobs. We want our website to be a place where people get added value through shared content, a dynamic and easily updatable job board, the ability to sign up for newsletters, and other services. Having the ability to upload images and other documents that are large in file size would be preferred. We also want to build in SEO options so we can improve our organic search results. In your role as an IT Operations Technician you’ll be primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of Summit’s IT systems. Responsibilities • Work in an Inbound Call Center-type of environment, fielding IT Support Queries. • Respond real time to customer Inbound questions & problems. • Trouble Shoot these IT Queries, most often involving Apple IT Products. • Utilize resources to effectively trouble shoot issues; explain the problem & the solution • Resolve customer complaints and situations calmly and courteously. • Troubleshoot & resolve service & technical problems using remote control tools with PC/MAC & Tablet. • Troubleshoot & resolve issues, "Remotely," since this involves over-the-phone support. Qualifications • 3+ year's of related experience in a customer service and/or technical support environment. • 2+ year's of demonstrated support of Apple/MAC Products, "In a Job Environment." • Strong knowledge of iOS Applications. •Experience with current or previous MAC applications, such as: Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion, etc. etc. •Experience with Mavericks/Yosemite &/or Casper Suite is desired! • Understanding of wired and wireless networks using multiple network technologies such as cable modems, routers, printers, etc. (DNS, DHCP, WAN, LAN, VPN, TCP/IP, Port Forwarding). • Employment experience with computers, smart phones, tablets and other peripheral devices. • Successfully pass our technical test and complete our interview process. • Pass an extensive background check.
