Systems Integrator and IT services firm in Albuquerque is looking for a senior technician. Someone currently working in the field at another provider would be ideal. The is primarily a Monday to Friday, 8-5 job, with some on call and occasional overtime hours. This is not an entry level job. You must have expertise in at least three of six these areas:
1) Delivering support remotely using modern RMM & PSA tools.
2) Computer hardware build & repair experience using current technology.
3) Networking design, installation and secure design experience.
4) Security appliance experience, with Sonicwall products experience a plus.
5) BDR appliance experience, with Datto experience a plus.
6) Virtualization skills, with Windows 2012 R2 Hyper-V experience a plus.
A highly presentable appearance and the ability to communicate and work with people directly is mandatory, as you will be the point of contact with our customers. While most of the work is delivered remotely, we do work with clients directly as well. Use of the company vehicle is required, so a current driver's license, a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background test is also a must. There may be occasional travel for this position, potentially including air travel.
The job pays an hourly wage of $20 to $24 to start, plus paid vacation/sick leave, paid health care, a retirement plan, and more. The work environment is light-hearted, but we are absolutely serious about our responsibilities to our clients, with no excuses. We are an EEO employer with respect for all types of people. Project ECHO has an exciting new opportunity in our ECHO IT team for a Systems Network Analyst. The successful individual will be an integral part of our programming team and will perform as a skilled senior back-end programmer who specializes in managing our infrastructure and securing our applications and data. This is a combined Sysadmin / Developer position, known as "DevOps." The primary duties of this position consists of; protecting applications and data from accidental loss or deliberate attacks; maintaining service ability; automating everything possible; managing data backups; migrating data securely; and developing and enforcing our internal security policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience hosting software applications in a cloud environment, such as AWS
Familiarity with one or more automation frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible
Experience with intrusion detection and monitoring, and use of systems such as OSSEC
Experience with PHP security best practices
Experience with modern encryption methods; have a good understanding on their strengths and limitations
Excellent communication and leadership skills

The successful candidate will manage and lead our team of IT professionals; set direction for how Project ECHO will leverage technology to dramatically increase its scale and scope; ensure that Project ECHO’s work manages data securely and in compliance with HIPAA and other information security initiatives; and be a key player in shaping a Big Data strategy to realize the immense value embedded in the patient and treatment data of the collective ECHO network and community.
