The SalesForce Intern position provides an avenue for employment working with one of the most advanced software systems in use today – SalesForce.com. SalesForce.com is recognized as the leading CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform. SalesForce.com was one of the first business programs to be fully hosted in “the cloud”, was one of the earliest users of the API (Application Programming Interface) technology, and has pioneered a “point and click” methodology of administration and customization. SalesForce.com is in use by 25,000 businesses, and over 5,000 non-profit organizations.
Its wide spread use, ease of customization, and the open API architecture has created a demand for skilled IT administrators and developers who will work with these companies in designing custom solutions to meet business and non-profit enterprise needs.
Adelante Development Center has adopted SaleForce.com for its core sales and donor management platform. It has also implemented SalesForce for a contact center – the Benefits Connection Center, manages the customer service function of a food pantry – The Storehouse, and its equipment recycling program – BackInUse.com. Adelante currently has 45 SalesForce users across multiple profiles. Across all the use cases, we track over 90,000 contacts.
The Intern Position will work on Adelante projects, while becoming certified as a SalesForce Administrator through completion of SalesForce training curriculum and testing.
The Intern program is expected to be completed in approximately 6 months. Upon completion the Intern will seek local or remote work opportunities. Adelante will coordinate training and hiring with a certified Salesforce Consultant company, with offices in Albuquerque.
