Global cutting edge professional government services organization is seeking a SharePoint Administrator. The SharePoint Administrator will manages all aspects of the SharePoint environment, including design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security of the SharePoint sites. This position plays an integral part in the development of strategies for optimal use of SharePoint and other collaborative tools within the organization. Administrator must be able to work with very little supervision in a highly charged and fast paced environment.
The SharePoint Administrator duties will include:
Maintains and supports the SharePoint 2013 Farms;
Acts as liaison to the SharePoint community, to include providing technical guidance and best practices;
Conforms with Change Management procedures to plan and execute changes, patches, updates, and system migrations;
Implement and manage SharePoint 2013 disaster recovery plan;
Communicate policy, best practices, and procedures to Site Collection Administrators and members;
Coordinates with IT, software vendors, and the SharePoint community to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent issues or errors;
The successful SharePoint Administrator will have:
5+ Years working as a SharePoint Administrator
2+ Years experience with SharePoint Designer
Powershell scripting experience.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience developing and troubleshooting SharePoint 2010/2013 workflows
Experience with Nintex Forms and Nintex Workflows.
Experience with content management
Working knowledge of .NET Forms-Based Authentication (FBA)
Working knowledge of SharePoint structure and life-cycle.
Experience with managing permissions between Active Directory and SharePoint
Experience with operating and maintaining servers in virtualized environments (VMware)

What You'll Do:
- Provide primary systems configuration and support for vendor-purchased Windows systems applications (including but not limited to Formscape, ArchiveManager, Sharepoint, SolarWinds, IronPort, Okta, Brightwork, etc.).
- Perform systems administration tasks in conjunction with other staff members to determine information needs, data flows, establish and control system access and security, monitor and optimize system performance, and initiate recovery plans after system failures.
- Provide support and maintenance of operating systems and network connectivity for Windows systems.
- Provide support and maintenance for MS-SQL systems.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Onsite work required. Hours: 8-5 M-F.
Beneficial Skills and Experience:
- 4-year degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of systems administration experience in multiple environments.
- Database experience in DB2.
- Significant multiple application system software installation, deployment and maintenance.
- Code management and revision control systems experience.
- PCI compliance procedures/workflows/security.
